Harnett Central’s girls soccer season ended Tuesday night with a 4-0 loss at New Hanover as the Wildcats, the No. 5 seed in the Eastern bracket, pulled away in the second half.

Central, the No. 28 seed, finished with an 8-7 record.

New Hanover (10-8-3) advances to host the winner between No. 12 East Chapel Hill and No. 21 Western Alamance.
