Raiders down Farmville Central, 3-0, in third-round volleyball

Midway advanced in the NCHSAA 2-A volleyball playoffs with a 3-0 win over visiting Farmville Central on Thursday night.

Set scores were 25-16, 25-16 and 25-19.

The Raiders improved to 18-4 while Farmville finished 16-5.

Midway, the No. 5 seed, travels to top-seeded Camden County (25-0) for a fourth-round match on Saturday at 5 p.m.
