Midway won the Sampson County golf championship at Timberlake on Thursday with a 309 total.

Trey Pope led the Raiders with a 72, Logan Patrick had a 76, Andrew Eldridge shot 79 and Jordan Sullivan came in with an 82.

Clinton, multi-time defending champion, was second at 320.

Midway plays at Duplin Country Club on Monday as James Kenan hosts the East Central 2-A Conference match.
