Raiders win league golf, Logan Patrick named Player of Year

Logan Patrick of Midway has been named East Central 2-A Conference Player of the Year in golf.

Midway shot 319 at Sandy Ridge on Wednesday to wrap up the East Central 2-A Conference golf championship.

Sophomore Logan Patrick of the Raiders was medalist with a 71. Chandler Perry of Clinton was second with a 74 as the Dark Horses were runner-up as a team at 344. East Duplin (358) was third.

Patrick was named the league’s Player of the Year and his dad, Glenn Patrick, was named Coach of the Year.

Also earning all-conference from the Raiders were Jordan Sullivan, Andrew Eldridge and Trey Pope.

The Raiders head to Land-O-Lakes in Whiteville for regional play at Monday, April 30.
