‘Re-Senior Night’ for Hawks

by | Feb 5, 2018 | Triton

Triton held its official Senior Night on Friday with the ceremonial recognition, the flowers and the posters, but the contests with Western Harnett weren’t the last regular-season home basketball games for the Hawks, who will host Union Pines tonight (Monday, Feb. 5) in make-up contests.

Winter weather in January resulted in the rearrangement of the Tri-County Six 3-A Conference schedule.

Triton lost the boys game 58-57 to Western on Friday night and the visiting Lady Eagles won, 49-31.

So the Vikings represent an opportunity for atonement.

Union Pines swept the Hawk varsities on Jan. 31, winning the boys game, 52-51, and the girls matchup, 43-24.
