Basketball and football standout Nate McKoy of Triton is this week’s recipient of the Extra Effort Award presented by WRAL. McKoy had 11 points, six rebounds and three steals in a 78-59 loss at Pine Forest on Friday night as the Trojans outscored the Hawks, 23-7, in the fourth quarter.
