Harnett Central’s softball team was topped 8-4 at Western Alamance in the third round of the NCHSAA 3-A playoffs on Tuesday night.

The Warriors (23-3) took a 6-0 lead in the first two innings.

Central, the champions of the Tri-County Six Conference, finished with a 17-9 overall record.
