South Johnston’s varsity softball team evened its nonconference season series with Corinth Holders on Thursday with a 15-3 road win.

South had fallen to the Pirates, 8-5, in eight innings at home on March 8.

The Lady Trojans (3-2) are scheduled to host Clayton on Tuesday night to start play in the Greater Neuse 3-A Conference.
