South Johnston took a pair of Greater Neuse River 3-A Conference wins over Cleveland on Senior Night for the Trojans on Thursday night.

South downed the Rams 9-1 in baseball as Aubrey Pollard got the win on the mound. Grant Millay and Drew Moore had home runs as the Trojans improved to 13-9 overall and 6-4 in the league.

The Trojans were 8-1 winners in softball scoring all eight runs in the third inning to move to 7-3 in league play.

South softball fell to 12-8 overall with a 3-1 nonconference loss to South Lenoir on Friday night.
