Cape Fear Christian Academy opened its varsity softball season on Tuesday with a 20-0 win at Fayetteville Christian.

The Eagles look to sweep their Sandhills Athletic Conference regular-season series with the Warriors at home today at 4 p.m.

CFCA opens its varsity seasons in baseball and girls soccer against Fayetteville Christian at home today at 4 p.m. as well.

On Tuesday,  Claire Parker pitched a complete-game shutout, allowing two hits, and one walk in five innings while striking out six

Cailee Ray went 4-for-4 with triples in her first four at-bats and a walk in her last plate appearance

Rhyleigh Horne singled and started the scoring as the visitors tallied two runs in the first.

CFCA put up nine runs in the fourth inning, with doubles by Horne, Kim  Bordeaux and Megan Harrold. Trinity Olive and Horne had sacrifice flies. Ray had a triple and Kristina Kennedy hit a home run.

Cailee Ray had four triples in a 20-0 win on Tuesday.
