South Johnston has rescheduled its home games, initially set for Tuesday, with Clayton in baseball and softball for Thursday evening.

The matchups will open Greater Neuse 3-A Conference play for the Trojans.

South will host the Comets in junior varsity baseball at 4 p.m. Thursday with the varsity game scheduled to follow at 7 p.m.

Softball will be limited to a varsity game. Trojans coach Amanda Smith said too many junior varsity players will be out of town to have a JV game. The varsity game has been rescheduled for 6 p.m.

The Trojans were scheduled to host North Johnston in girls soccer on Tuesday. Those nonconference matches have been moved to Friday with the junior varsity game at 4 p.m. and the varsity matchup at 6 p.m.
