Sophomore quarterback Tyler Williams of South Johnston ran for touchdowns covering 14, 24 and 12 yards in the first half of a 42-0 win over visiting Triton on Thursday night.
Mason Weaver had an interception return for a touchdown as the Trojans (2-0) led 28-0 at halftime.

Holt Langston had a 7-yard run as the Trojans pushed the lead to 35-0 with 8:02 left in the third quarter.
A 47-yard run by Marquel Jones accounted for the final TD of the nonconference rivalry.
“Great team win,” said South coach Lee Webb. “This team works very hard from week to week.
“We just told them that our work ethic, attitude, and discipline has to step to the forefront.”
The Trojans host Corinth Holders on Friday, September 6, at 7 p.m.
