South Johnston visits West Carteret in the second round of the NCHSAA 3-A baseball playoffs tonight (Friday, May 11) at 7 p.m.

The Trojans (14-9) won their first-round game at Clayton, 2-0, as senior Grant Millay hit a two-run homer in the eighth inning and pitched a complete game.

The Patriots (15-8) topped visiting Swansboro 5-1 in the opening round.
