Three from Western sign for softball at Fayetteville State

Three softball players from Western Harnett have signed to play at Fayetteville State.

Laniyah Bethea will be joined by twins Morgan and Olivia Jackson with the Broncos.

Bethea hit .333 with an RBI as the Eagles went 2-3 during an abbreviated junior season for the trio.

Morgan Jackson had one hit, one run and one RBI in 2020. The Jacksons have played softball and tennis at Western.

The Eagles are scheduled to open the 2021 softball season at Fike on March 15.
