Trinity Christian Academy completed a Sandhills Athletic Conference basketball sweep at Cape Fear Christian Academy on Tuesday night with a 78-55 win in the varsity boys game.
E.J. Bethea had 17 points for CFCA (17-9, 2-3 SAC). Lucas Capalbo had 14 points for the Eagles. Dillon Butler had nine points. Marcus Owens had eight points. Riley Adams finished with five points and Ramiro Arrillaga tallied two.
Trinity won the girls game, 80-36, as Leah Brannon had 18 points for CFCA (6-8, 1-4). Talisha McNeill and Anslee McLamb had six points each. Adding two points each for the Lady Eagles were Kristen Bass, Aubree Bass and Meghan Taylor.
Gloria Smith led the Trinity girls with 25 points.
The visitors won the junior varsity boys game, 63-28. Zeke Brock had nine points for the Eagles. Jaden Crumley and Dolan Adams scored six points each for CFCA. DeShawn Woods had three points. Barrett Raynor and Reid Miller had two points each.
The CFCA varsity teams continue league play at Northwood Temple on Friday night.
