Host Terry Sanford took a 16-0 varsity baseball win in five innings over Triton on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs (5-1) scored five times in the first inning and added 10 runs in the second.

Parker Crews, Seth Gurkin and Dalen Thompson had hits for the Hawks (1-4).

Triton starts play in the Tri-County Six 3-A Conference at Western Harnett on Friday at 7 p.m.
