Triton soundly defeated visiting All American 3-A/4-A Conference opponent E.E. Smith in a 10-2 varsity girls soccer win Friday.

Sophomore Anna Wilson, sophomore Emma Stanley and freshman Bianca Gonzalez had two goals apiece, with Wilson also recording one assist, to lead the Hawks (5-3, 3-1 AAC).

Emily Mendez had one goal and one assist. Carleigh Parker, Nissi Mencia and McKenna Moore had one goal apiece. Kate Cochran had two assists. Palmer Foster and Gabby Artis had one assist apiece. Ansley Brown recorded two saves in goal.

The hosts led 6-1 at the half.

Triton travels to Smithfield-Selma for a nonconference game Monday before returning to conference play at home against Terry Sanford on Tuesday.
