Brittany Ireland went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs as visiting Triton took a 15-0 Tri-County Six 3-A Conference varsity softball win at Southern Lee on Friday night.

Kaila Cooney went 3-for-3 with three RBIs as the Hawks improved to 12-3 overall and 5-1 in the league going into a nonconference game with C.B. Aycock at home on Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Hailey Hicks had two hits and two RBIs.

Gracyn Slaughter pitched the five-inning shutout.

The Cavaliers took a 4-0 win in girls soccer.
