Senior Marquis Rosado had two goals for the Triton varsity boys soccer team in a 7-0 All American Conference victory over visiting Westover on Monday night.
The Hawks improved to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the AAC going into a league match at Western Harnett on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Also scoring goals for Triton were Uriel Morales-Olvera, Josimar Cruz, Elias Lopez, Dennis Aguilar Murillo and Ever Quintanilla.
Credited with assists for the Hawks were Coy Conway, David Valero, Murillo and Quintanilla.
“It was a very well played team game,” said Triton coach Brian Foster. “We shard the ball well and defended as a unit.
“The unassisted goals were created by tough defense causing turnovers and we converted those into scoring opportunities. Our goals with assists were created by players looking for teammates and playing in space created by good movement without the ball.”
