Heavyweight champion Michael Carvin of Triton is flanked by silver medalists Nick Williams and Malachi Nettles.

The Triton Wrestling team traveled to Broughton on Saturday to compete in the third annual Matthews-Griffin-Burt Memorial Tournament.

The Hawks came in eighth out of 14 teams.

Michael Carvin of Triton won the heavyweight division.

Nick Williams (145 pounds) and Malachi Nettles (170) came in second in their respective divisions.

Antoine Mosely (160) and Brice Holiday (195) of the Hawks also won a match at the tournament.
