— Fisher Stancil, an all-state baseball player at Cape Fear Christian, is transferring to ECA Baseball Academy in Goldsboro.

— Brandon Shwaikeh, who guided CFCA to the middle school boys soccer and junior varsity boys basketball championships in the Mid-Carolina Conference, has joined the coaching staff at Harnett Central. His son, Eli Shwaikeh, is transferring to Central after leading the middle school soccer and basketball teams to MCC titles last year as an eighth-grader.
