— David Reece of Triton has been named to serve as an assistant for the East in the East-West All-Star football game in Greensboro in December of 2026. Ben Penny of the Hawks will be an assistant this December.

— Former Campbell player Joe Spinks will be coaching the West stars in boys basketball in July of 20926.

— Dunn’s A (6-and-under) All-Stars won the Sportsmanship Award at the Diamond Youth Baseball World Series.

— South Carolina won three DYB World Series championships in Dunn, including the Division I (larger leagues) AA (8-and-under), the Division II (smaller leagues) AA, and the Division I AA. Texas won the DI title in the A age group.

— Alec Burleson (East Carolina) had a home run and two RBIs for host St. Louis in a 7-1 win over Miami on Monday night.

— Zach Neto (Campbell) had a run-scoring double for the Los Angeles Angels in a 6-4 win over visiting Texas.

— Cedric Mullins (Campbell) had a double, a home run and two RBIs for host Baltimore in an 11-4 win over Toronto.
