Sophomore Brittany Ireland is hitting .750 with four home runs and 12 RBIs for the Hawks. Alexis Howard is hitting .625 with five doubles, one homer, eight RBIs and four stolen bases. Pitcher Caroline Marshall has not allowed an earned run. … Campbell (16-15) hosts Miami of Ohio (16-17) in the first round of the College Basketball Invitational at 7 p.m. Wednesday night. The RedHawks are led by 6-feet, 3-inch freshman Nike Sibande, who averages 14.6 points per game. Despite contributions from Nike, Miami is an adidas school.
