Brian Riddle

Former Triton golfer Brian Riddle is the head professional at TPC Sawgrass in Jacksonville. Riddle studied Professional Golf Management at N.C. State after receiving his undergraduate degree from UNC Wilmington. TPC Sawgrass features the island green on the par three 17th hole of its Stadium Course. The layout is hosting The Players Championship, May 10-13. … Brett McLamb, a baseball standout at Triton, finished fifth individually and helped Campbell to a second-place finish as a team behind host UNC Wilmington after Monday’s final round of the Seahawk Intercollegiate Golf Tournament at the Country Club of Landfall. … San Francisco hosted North Texas and topped the Mean Green 72-62 in the first game of the best-of-three championship series in the College Basketball Invitational on Monday night. The Dons held off visiting Campbell 65-62 in the semifinals. Game two of the championship series is Wednesday night at The Super Pit in Denton, Texas.
