The North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association released its All-State teams in girls tennis and volleyball on Tuesday with two players from Cape Fear Christian Academy on 1-A units.
CFCA senior Anslee McLamb made the all-state team in volleyball as she played outside hitter and libero in helping the Eagles to the semifinals of the state tournament.
Eagles freshman Ella John Dupree was named all-state in girls tennis after leading CFCA to the state playoffs. Dupree was unbeaten in the No. 1 singles against 1-A and 2-A opponents.
Earlier, Eagles seventh-grader Allie Wiggins made the 1-A girls all-state team in cross country.
