Ayla Atkins and Marquez McNeil were joined by family as well as staff members at Western Harnett as they signed to perform on the collegiate level on Thursday morning at the school.
Atkins is planning to be a cheerleader at Methodist University in Fayetteville.
McNeil is joining the wrestling program at Allen University in Columbia, S.C., which competes in the Appalachian Athletic Conference in the NAIA.
