Union Pines won a Tri-County Six 3-A Conference golf match for the fourth time in four tries this season, hosting play and getting a 78 for medalist honors from Allen Weaver on the way to a 328 team total at Whispering Pines on Monday.

Western Harnett was second at 368 and Harnett central was third at 371. Triton (382), Southern Lee (403) and Lee County (408) rounded out the field.

Western’s total included an 87 from Dalton Davis, a 92 from Will Lewis, a 94 by Elijah Godfrey and a 95 by Kamren Lewis.

Central’s scores were provided by Cole Long (88), Seth Hagen (91), Kyle Milliron (96) and Seth Bell (96).

Cam Brown led the Hawks with an 87. Triton got a 95 from Ashton Wood, a 99 from Aaron Jackson and a 101 from Lee Bass.

The next league match is at Sanford Municipal on Monday.
