Volleyball: CFCA winds up week with one-sided wins

Cape Fear Christian Academy defeated visiting Riverside Christian Academy of Fayetteville in straight sets in nonconference junior varsity and varsity volleyball matches on Friday.

The CFCA junior varsity improved to 4-1 by scores of 25-10 and 25-7.

The Eagles varsity (2-5) turned back the Royals 25-15, 25-12 and 25-21.

CFCA hosts Kerr-Vance for JV and varsity matches on Tuesday.

Thursday vs. Neuse

CFCA took two of three matches from visiting Neuse Christian on Thursday.

The Eagles moved to 4-0 on the middle school level by scores of 25-7 and 25-18.

The JV matchup went to CFCA, 25-15 and 25-18.

After the Eagles won the first set, 25-19, the Lions came back to prevail 27-25, 25-16 and 25-20 to put their record at 2-1.
