Three Campbell athletes are in the NCAA outdoor track and field national championships, which will be held today through Saturday at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. The CU trio includes Lawrence Kipkoech and Amon Kemboi, both competing in the men’s 5,000 meters, with Kipkoech also qualifying for the 10,000, as well as Sabina Allen, who became CU’s first female track and field All-American during the indoor season. She will compete in the triple jump. … Florida State (58-12) came through the losers bracket to win the NCAA softball tournament by topping Washington 1-0 on Monday and 8-3 on Tuesday in Oklahoma City. Third baseman Jessie Warren of the Seminoles was named most outstanding player. … The NBA finals move to Cleveland for game three tonight at 9 with Golden Sate holding a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
