Bradley Wilson went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer as Western Harnett downed visiting Hoke County, 12-5, in varsity baseball on Wednesday night.
The Eagles (3-2) overcame an early 4-0 deficit for their third straight win. Hoke fell to 1-4.
Collin Welch started on the mound for Western and went three innings. He allowed three hits and five runs, all earned, while walking three and striking out eight.
Dustin Lund pitched three innings and Jordi Sancho tossed the seventh.
Lund yielded one hit and walked two with one strikeout. Sancho did not give up a hit and had one whiff.
Lund was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Noah Kessler and Josh Carter each had a hit and drove in two runs for the Eagles. Welch had a hit and an RBI. Kaleb Denkins had a stolen base.
Western was scheduled to play at Chapel Hill on tonight (Thursday, March 8) at 6:15 p.m.
