Western Harnett boys basketball players Jamar Butler and Darnell Carver will be continuing their careers at Central Carolina Community College.

Both have been all-conference players while at Western.

The Eagles were 10-12 overall and 4-6 in the Tri-County Six 3-A Conference for the 2017-18 season, narrowly missing the playoffs.

Butler averaged 15.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.0 steals.

Carver averaged 13.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals.
