DeShawn Woods scored 36 points and Zeke Brock had 13 assists as Cape Fear Christian Academy took a 76-57 Sandhills Athletic Conference varsity boys basketball win over visiting Village Christian in a make-up game on Wednesday night.
The Eagles improved to 9-8 for the season and 2-3 in league play.
CFCA outscored the Knights, 22-9, in the second quarter for a 38-21 lead at halftime.
Woods made 12 of 24 field-goal attempts, including two of six beyond the arc. He made all 10 of his free throws.
Brock added 14 points. Jakson Cullen had eight points and eight rebounds. Reid Miller had six points and nine rebounds. David Okropiridze registered six points and seven rebounds.
Jackson Bolton, Tony Cornette-McGuire and Lathan Wilborn tallied two points each for CFCA. Barrett Raynor had three rebounds and an assist. Grant Pasley-Allen had two rebounds.
The game was originally scheduled for January 7.
There were no games for junior varsity boys or varsity girls because Village does not have those teams this season.
The CFCA varsity boys play at Village on Tuesday night.
